Ever written fourty fics about hands? No? Well aren't you the sane one...

So my theme is Hands, and the fandom is Angel (though if you have general ideas please share them!) and the following prompts are DOING MY HEAD IN!

Sleep	Promise	Nightmare	Dread
Need	Regret	Change	Mistake
Candy	Sorrow	Impossible	Stars
Believe	Gone	Time	Fade

If you can think of any way of linking 'broody' to hands, that'd be great too. XD

Hm, well, "nightmare" can always be scary hands reaching out for you and unable to get away and etc. Or – more canonical – when the touch of the, um, whatsit from the end of S1 overloaded Cordy with visions, which was essentially a nightmare she couldn't wake up from.

"Stars" makes me think of Angel singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to Connor and doing hand motions, but I don't know if it has hand motions. You know, twinkly ones. Incy-Wincy Spider does, but that's not stars.

And speaking of cute baby things, diapers need to be "changed".

Heh, "broody" is always that image from the first few episodes when they let Angel sit alone in the dark like he wanted. Isn't his hand kind of fiddling/caressing his desk in that scene?

Oh, ew. Early S1 also reminds me of that CREEPY doctor dude who could detach body parts. Which covers ... what, "sleep", "dread", "impossible".... and TOTALLY GROSS, although I notice that's not on there.

And, well, there's also the evil hand for Lindsey, which can also cover several of those up there.

It's been a while since I really even thought about Angel. Huh. Clearly I default to early series stuff. Hope some of those strike up some sparks for you :)

You're totally awesome. I'm realising I have forgotten season 1 almost entirely - I need to get my box set back! That'll teach me to lend things I'm going to need.

Yes, huge amounts of ficcage on the evil hand have already been done. I am now cursing myself for choosing quite such an obtuse theme. XD

Sleep - Character of your choice sharing a bed with Lindsey and musing about the fact that he has two whole hands now and no one would ever suspect he'd lost one?

Promise - A handshake... maybe Angel shaking hands with Gunn... promise of a new life

Change - Lindsey thinking about the Evil Hand (or alternatively the prosthetic one)

Fade - someone's hands falling still as life fades

Broody - someone has a nervous habit they do with their hands while they brood (tapping, working with hands, noodling on the guitar)? Seems like a Lindsey or a Wes thing, though I could imagine Angel maybe with a nervous habit.

Awesome, thanks. I really like the desk image, and regret works so well for all of those! Also I was obsessing over Fade -> Not Fade Away, but Fade for Fred works soooo well... (little tear)

I'm hoping LJ stops being crap at some point soon so I can go look at your picspam (typical, one week after I buy a full version it dies a death of dead things).

I'm realising quite how much of season 1 I've forgotten, and stupidly lent my box set to a friend who lives a way away last time I saw him. Grr... I will have to go hunt him down. Meanwhile, it's Wiki, wikia and IMDB for me.

I'm also finding, oddly, that I preferentially write canon pairings in this fandom. Perhaps because there were so many pairings and they were all soooo juicy. :D (Angel/Spike was totally canon)
