Yes, LMX what where you thinking? That shouts for more fic, because now I want to know how they get Nate to open up about his were form.

I liked especially that Nate as the mastermind and 'boss' of the team has sort of the 'leader's' were-form, but is the least comfortable with it. I did struggle a little with the werehyena at first, any particular reason you chose that animal for Sophie? They're usually not very well-liked.

Nicely done as always!

I was challenging your expectations. XD

OK - so first of all because they are so ridiculously beautiful (http://animal.discovery.com/fansites/wildkingdom/hyena-princess/images/hyena-and-cub.jpg) and then they open their mouths and all the deadly becomes apparent (http://www.wildlife-pictures-online.com/image-files/hyena-knp01-g.jpg) - there's a metaphor there, and it's a little heavy-handed. They're intelligent, but they don't hunt for themselves they make use of other hunters around them for their food (grifter). I also loved that I could have her laugh so much in this, she hasn't laughed much recently, but I love it every time she does.

I also have another bazillion words in my head that I never asked for; including Sophie dealing with identity issues and her appearance in animal form, Nate finding out Maggie is a were, Sophie confronting Maggie and finding out that all the neurocese are Nate's alone, Parker running with a pack and having to return to the real world eventually, Hardison and Nana (and computers to convince him that sometimes human hands were cooler than wolf paws), Hardison before Nana, how Moreau tried to get Eliot back as soon as he worked out he'd been infected...

Anybody want my treasonous brain?

No, thanks, I've got enough with my own, lol. But you should put those words out, you really should. *nods*

They are beautiful, aren't they? And some of the most misunderstood animals in the world. Did you know that lions steal from hyenas, not necessarily the other way around? I've seen them in Africa, in the wild from about 1m away...awesome creatures!
