I so have to watch this episode again. My son is having a fever and was waking up all the time...so I got distracted once or twice. But honestly? This is one can get rather high on my 'episodes I like' list. A real team episode, barely no couple moments (let's bet we get Hardison&Parker again next week, shall we?) and lots of fun moments.
Nate is getting freaky again, the end? I second the 'Oh no'.
The hand issue thing I have to check...I'm probably blind. Do you have a scene to go with that?
I hope your son feels better soon, fevers are horrible.
Only a couple of seconds - he looked at it as he shook off that last punch, which is not quite normal. (http://i.imgur.com/eLcCq.jpg) But after last week having it pointed out that he took two weeks off (haha - which awesomely fitted with airing dates) after putting his hand through a mirror, I've been a bit obsessive.
ETA: Weeks off *punching*. I was getting really naffed off the episode before while he was dancing around with spades and shit while Hardison was suffocating - that fight seemed to take inordinately long given what was at stake. But I can kind of take that as an explanation, and want to write the scene where it's negotiated that Eliot doesn't punch anyone unless they punch him first.
It's the part of me that's driving towards 'damaged!eliot' that I haven't had any time to write for recently.
I've just watched again and - though I might be projecting a little - there's a first punch and then every other hit is made with open hand, a weapon or some other part of his body.
Yes, I remember the comment from last week and the stupid fight from the week before that (which by the way made me totally angry, Eliot is wasting time play fighting? Argh.).
You should definitely write some damaged!Eliot stuff...I do like him hurt and damaged, even if that makes me creepy, lol.
Yeah, the little man is better, but since he still had some temperature this morning we'll have another day at home. I just hope he sleeps better tonight, I ended up in his bed, which is not long enough for me...and he felt like a heater next to me.
I LOVED this episode. So many good team moments, and I third your "Oh no" regarding Nate and his creepy creepy ending. But I love Nate when we get those moments. It means something big is about to happen. :D
It was a properly awesome episodes in so many ways. Opening with the previous con that we didn't get to see, and all the injuries and sunburn!lol attached to that con is something I highly approve of. And the couples tone was just right. <3
But yeah, something big and bad is coming. Especially after Nate's discussion with this season's bad (who could potentially be said to be not be that *bad*...), and playing right into his playing God complex...
