Angel moved to Los Angelos and became ColinFarrell!Angel. And he smoked (GUH) and was all Irish and tatted and had a freaking EDGE, rather than being Broody McDarkerson. He literally just became more angry. And tense. And seriously needing some sexual release. And didn't kill have Lindsey killed in the end.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I liked Boreanaz fine on Buffy, but he never quite owned it on his own ... and I don't think I realised that until just now. Huh.
